Greetings brothers and sisters in Christ
The 20/11/2016 marked the end of the extra ordinary jubilee year of the Roman Catholic Church, which had begun on 08/12/2015. Their Jubilee years are 25 years apart, their last normal Jubilee was in 2000, which means the next normal jubilee will be in 2025; why an extra ordinary jubilee? The answer to that is, that there is something urgent normally dealt with in a jubilee year that could not wait till 2025.
In a jubilee year forgiveness is given and reconciliation done between previously estranged parties, and the Pope issues indulgences to those who will enlist in the wars against the Pope’s enemies and annihilate heretics. So what is so important so as to warrant an extra ordinary jubilee? In 2014 there was a meeting in Soule, South Korea of all religions, Moslems, Buddhists and others at which an agreement was made to unite all these religions under the Pope of Rome, in their quest for complete ecumenism a similar agreement of all ‘Christian Churches’ was sought and secured hence the extra ordinary jubilee to facilitate ‘forgiveness and reconciliation’ outside of a normal jubilee. In this agreement the churches agreed to denounce the Protestant Reformation as error and seek forgiveness and reconciliation with the Roman Catholic Church. On the 20/11/2016 Pope Francis closed the door of mercy, meaning all the purposes of the extra ordinary jubilee were achieved. Next year on the 500th year of the reformation, another celebration will take place that of the death of the reformation and the rebirth of ecumenism.
The question is what did our church do, did they sign in to the death of reformation and into ecumenism? This is not to denigrate the church and its leadership but to wake us up in this crisis hour, so we do not make the same mistake made by the disciples on the day Christ was arrested, they were asleep when they should have been watching and praying. It is time to shake off sleep and study and pray so that the day of our visitation does not overtake us unawares. Let’s follow the example of Daniel who searched the Scriptures especially the prophecy of Jeremiah and then prayed, what this means is that there are prophecies we should be especially studying in connection with what is going on so we can pray intelligently and spiritually.
Revelation 13 brings to view a beast rising out of the sea, with seven heads with the name of blasphemy. What is blasphemy? In John 10:33 we are told that blasphemy is when a man makes himself God, the Jews wanted to stone Jesus for saying He and the Father are one. In Matthew 26:65 the high priest rents his clothes because Jesus had committed blasphemy by agreeing He was the Christ the Son of God. In the dictionary it is defined as to treat God or scared things disrespectfully through words or action. From this we conclude that any action in word or deed that insults or demotes God or one of the members of the God head is blasphemy. In Mark 3:28-29 we are told that “all manner of blasphemes will be forgiven men, but blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, leads to eternal damnation.” Looking at the prophecy, there are seven heads, which we know is the number of completeness or the whole, so what are the heads symbols of? One is shown as being wounded as to death but recovers, this we know to refer to the Roman Catholic Church, whose pope was taken prisoner by a French general in 1798, this is not the deadly wound, but the reformation which started in 1517 is. If the one wounded head represents the Roman Catholic Church, then the other heads represent other churches, being seven they represent all the Christian churches. The activities in this year of mercy have been to heal the wound inflicted by the Reformation, and reincorporate the protestant churches into the Roman Catholic
Church. So the heads represent all the churches, none excluded. Isaiah confirms the apostasy of all churches: “And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.” Isa 4:1. The number seven does not leave any one church outside. The question is what blasphemes have we committed as a church? This is not to denigrate the church and its leadership, but to examine ourselves, to see if we are in the faith and truth.
In the general Conference session in 2010 a resolution was passed saying that the SOP testimonies should not be a guide of faith and practice. Sister White says:” If you seek to turn aside the counsel of God to suit yourselves, if you lessen the confidence of God's people in the testimonies He has sent them, you are rebelling against God as certainly as were Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.” 5T 66.2. She continues: “It is Satan's plan to weaken the faith of God's people in the Testimonies. Next follows skepticism in regard to the vital points of our faith, the pillars of our position, then doubt as to the Holy Scriptures, and then the downward march to perdition. When the Testimonies, which were once believed, are doubted and given up, Satan knows the deceived ones will not stop at this; and he redoubles his efforts till he launches them into open rebellion, which becomes incurable and ends in destruction.” (4T 211.1) In 2Chronicles 20:20 we are told: “Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper”. Believing in God we are established in the faith and believing His prophets we prosper in the faith. Now, if the Testimonies are not a guide to faith and practice, why did God give them? This is blaspheming the Holy Spirit.
The church manual: God has always guided His church by His word and His Spirit. When Israel was organized as a church it was the word of God the Ten Commandments spoken and written by the finger of God, and the law given to and written by Moses in a book, that guided the church in the wilderness. This was latter represented on the Ephod by the Urim and Thummim. Urim means light; David says:” Thy word is light unto my feet,” and Thummim means holy or truth; Jesus says:” When the comforter the Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth, is come He will lead you into all truth.” Therefore the Bible and the Holy Spirit Testimonies, the writings of Ellen G. White, are the Urim and Thummim respectively, and they contain all the guidance the church needs, we don’t need a church manual, church policy and any other human uninspired construction. In 1932 the church adopted a manual against the resolution of 1883, which said the Church should not have a manual, and the advice of the prophet and the Holy Spirit. If God saw the need of a church manual He would have sent one by the Holy Spirit through the prophet. The church manual is not an inspired document and it is changeable, two features that make it absolutely unnecessary and unreliable, yet the church exalts it above the inspired testimonies. Its changeability, and it has been changed several times, means that it does contain errors, meaning action could be taken that is endorsed by it, but latter proved to be error and changed. You cannot run an inspired church by an uninspired document.
Sun worship: the church introduced Olympic games, these are games that were and are in Greece, conducted to give homage to their principal god, Zeus, of mount Olympus; this god among the Romans is Jupiter, also known as the lord of the sky, the sun; as our youth conduct these they unwittingly give homage to the sun, which is devil worship. The only time in the Bible where the church played games
was at Mount Sinai, when they were worshipping the golden calf, therefore a church that plays games is in apostasy and worshiping an idol.
Mary and child worship: Pagan religions have a trinity of father mother and child, this is represented by a statue of a woman holding a baby in her arms, the ‘Mary and baby Jesus’ of the Roman Catholic Church: in the bible only the men of a certain age group are counted. When Israel left Egypt the men were counted those who could bear arms, in all subsequent censuses only men were counted, fast forward to those fed by Jesus 5000 men, beside women and children, again the 4000 were only men counted, beside women and children. You can search the bible throughout you will not find where women are organized into an organ; this comes from the world, in the same way as Sunday sacredness, that is the only justification there is for the women’s and children’s ministries. The women’s ministries of all churches and secular organizations, wear purple on their days, signifying that the inspiration for the ministry comes from one source. In the calendar of events from the conference there are many programs for women and children which is a subtle introduction of mother and child worship as carried out in the Roman Catholic Church and pagan religions. Isaiah 3:12 we are told: “As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err.” With such a warning it is important to examine everything we do and ensure we are not foul of God’s precepts in any way. To understand the gravity involved in the women and children’s ministries, we must understand the nature of the controversy. Satan opposes everything God says and does: God says don’t eat the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for if you eat you will surely die, the devil says no you will not die; God says a man must marry one wife , the devil says marry many wives, God says no divorce , the devil says you can divorce; God says marriage is between a man and a woman , the devil says man marry man, and woman marry woman; God says keep the seventh day holy, the devil says keep the first day; God says men only are leaders , the devil says women can lead; God says men only are counted, devil says women and children are counted. So in the question of women’s and children’s ministries who are we listening to?
Infallibility of higher organization: we are told that” the higher organization’s programs must not be examined by the church members but implemented as received without question,” this flies in the face of Christ’s example and instructions, He told his hearers to search the scriptures to see that what He was saying and doing were so: “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” John 5:39. “ Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1 and Philippians 1:10 says:” That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ”; it is clear from scripture that we must examine every enactment emanating from all organs of the church to see that they are in tune with the word of God; but the Church says,” don’t examine or prove what I am saying or doing for I don’t make mistakes.” Only one does not err and He bids us to examine Him with scriptures. In 9T 278 we are told:” In no conference should propositions be rushed through without time being taken by the brethren to weigh carefully all sides of the question. Because the president of a conference suggested certain plans, it has sometimes been considered unnecessary to consult the Lord about them. Thus propositions have been accepted that were not for the spiritual benefit of the believers and that involved far more than was apparent at the first casual
consideration. Such movements are not in the order of God. Many, very many matters have been taken up and carried by vote, that have involved far more than was anticipated and far more than those who voted would have been willing to assent to had they taken time to consider the question from all sides. “ {9T 278.1}. It is extremely dangerous not to examine things from higher organs in the light of the prophecy of Ezekiel 8; it is the leadership that is worshiping idols and the sun. In Jeremiah 23, it is the pastors that scatter the sheep. In Isa. 3:12 ,it is those that lead that lead the people to err, Isaiah reiterates the point in Isa. 9:16, we are told:” For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.” So accepting anything from the higher organ without subjecting it to Biblical and SoP scrutiny, is a negation of responsibility and a blasphemous demand by the higher organs. The church is run on policy, the Spirit of Prophecy says;” principle not policy must control. Those who are controlled by policy rather than by principle are not to be trusted. They will pervert the truth, conceal facts, and construe the words of others to mean that which was never intended.” 2BC 1005. We are further told:” Those who desire to honor God will not mingle worldly policy plans with his plans in attempting to accomplish that which this work is ordained by him to accomplish.” {RH, June 16, 1904 par. 6} The heavenly Teacher inquired: "What stronger delusion can beguile the mind than the pretense that you are building on the right foundation and that God accepts your works, when in reality you are working out many things according to worldly policy and are sinning against Jehovah?” 8T 250. We can only be sure we doing God’s work according to His will if we follow the Bible and Testimonies, without mingling them with worldly philosophies and sophistries.
In 1991 the church changed its emblem from the three angels which were an extension of the name, beliefs and message of the church, to the present meaningless one, the former said we believe the perpetuity of the ten commandments, including the forth, and we preach the three angels message, and are waiting for the second physical appearing of our Lord in glory, the question is have we changed our message? When a company changes its logo it is because it has changed ownership or its product, what have we changed? The pen of inspiration says: “The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work.” 1SM 204. Inspiration continues: “Not Ashamed of Our Name: We are Seventh-day Adventists. Are we ashamed of our name? We answer, "No, no! We are not. It is the name the Lord has given us. It points out the truth that is to be the test of the churches."-Letter 110, 1902. {2SM 384.1} “ We are Seventh-day Adventists, and of this name we are never to be ashamed. As a people we must take a firm stand for truth and righteousness. Thus we shall glorify God. We are to be delivered from dangers, not ensnared and corrupted by them. That this may be, we must look ever to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.” - Letter 106, 1903. {2SM 384.2} “Our Distinctive Sign: The banner of the third angel has inscribed upon it, "The commandments of God and the faith of Jesus." Our institutions have taken a name which sets forth the character of our faith, and of this name we are
never to be shamed. A company was presented before me under the name of Seventh-day Adventists, who were advising that the banner or sign which makes us a distinctive people should not be held out so strikingly; for they claimed it was not the best policy in securing success to our institutions. This distinctive banner is to be borne through the world to the close of probation….. I was told that men will employ every policy to make less prominent the difference between the faith of Seventh-day Adventists and those who observe the first day of the week. In this controversy the whole world will be engaged, and the time is short. This is no time to haul down our colors.” {2SM 385.1}. The Logo is an extension of a company’s name, it normal depicts what the company is about, our former logo was an extension of our name namely Seventh –Day Adventist who preach the three angels messages and it did not have a cross, which is a common emblem of all the fallen churches; question Have we joined them in their fallen state?
The church changed the emblem against the express instruction from the Holy Spirit not to, that is blaspheming the Holy Spirit. We are told: “ Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.” Jeremiah6:16. If there is a time this advice must be heeded it is now. Let us repair to the Bible, Testimonies and our history and ask for the old paths, that will lead us to the Way, Jesus Christ our Lord.
This is not to denigrate the church and its leadership, but that we must seek reformation and revival truthfully and spiritually, weeping between the porch and the altar, we must sigh and groan for the abominations that are done in the sanctuary. Christ is coming for a church without spot or wrinkle, a church holy and without blemish, the time to remove the spots, wrinkles and blemishes is now. We have a work to present ourselves to Christ that He may sanctify us, ready for His appearing.
God bless you!
